CalculaTool privacy policy

CalculaTool is an Android app made by mobilgem. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.
In short
- You do not need an account. We do not collect, receive or sell your personal data.
- Everything you enter stays on your device.
- The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Ads are not personalised. Google receives some device data to show them; see “Advertising” below.
Data that stays on your device
To work, CalculaTool keeps the following only on your device:
- the values you enter into the tools and your calculation history;
- your profile, if you fill it in: weight, height, date of birth, sex, tax rate, fuel price and fuel consumption;
- your settings: language, theme, units and the tools on your board.
This includes the inputs of the body and health tools (body mass index, daily energy, cycle, pregnancy calendar). None of this data is sent to us or to anyone else. You can delete your history inside the app; uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes everything.
No backups. The app’s data is excluded from Android’s cloud backup and from phone-to-phone transfer. It stays on this device only, so it is not carried over to a new phone.
Advertising
CalculaTool shows banner ads through Google AdMob. This is the only reason the app uses the internet.
- We request non-personalised ads only: ads are not based on your interests or your activity in other apps.
- To deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure them and prevent fraud, Google may collect or receive data such as your device’s advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and ad interactions. Google processes this data as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your choices through Google’s consent form before ads are requested. You can change them at any time in Settings → About → Ad privacy choices.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
Sharing results
When you share or copy a result, the app hands the text to the place you choose (for example a messaging app). We do not see what you share.
Children
CalculaTool is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your rights
Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Türkiye’s personal data protection law, KVKK), you have rights over data processed about you; for advertising data, Google is the party that processes it. You can always contact us with questions.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be shown in the app.
